Yesterday/Today/Tomorrow

Because I needed to admit it to someone

I cheated okay

I cheated and it feels terrible

not that I didn’t enjoy it

because I really really wanted it

but just that I didn’t have the balls

to do what needed to be done

if I had, I wouldn’t have to call it cheating

But the fact still remains

I’m a cheater

a liar

dishonest

untrustworthy

and just not a very good person

And it won’t matter what anyone tells me

because being honest with myself 

is the first step

the first step to becoming a better person
